This year is going by so quickly.  The following is what we are planning for the rest of 2006.

General Assembly Meeting:  Mark on your calendars for September 16th, 2006, 3:00P.M. at Sts. Constantine and Helen Cathedral.  Elections will take place at this meeting.  Also, we will discuss our upcoming Convention, Annual Dinner-Dance, Christmas Party and possibly a picnic in 2007. Members in good standing will be allowed to vote.  Each member needs to be paid up through 2006.  Anyone wishing to be a candidate for our society must be a member for at least one year and be current with their dues.  Membership dues will be collected at this meeting.  Refreshments will be served.

Annual Dinner – Dance:  The date for this event is November 18, 2006.  This year our honorees are Gus and Estelle Callas.  We have booked the band Stigma again for this year.  Our dance is being advertised on their web site already.  It will be at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in Cleveland.  Mark your calendar with the date.  Please tell your friends and relatives about this event.  Plan to attend.

Christmas Party:  Our second Christmas Party will take place at Sts. Constantine & Helen Cathedral on December 2, 2006 at 2:00 P.M.  Santa Claus is taking time out of his busy schedule and came to visit us with gifts for everyone.  Do not miss it this year.

Charity Work

In the year of 2006, we donated to IOCC, Beth Pappas Cardiac Program in Boston, Massachusetts, the Greek Independence Day Parade, helped a family in Vrondados, Chios, Greece and to the Metropolis of Pittsburgh’s Daffodil Luncheon where part of the proceeds went to Cleveland Metro Hospital’s Pediatric Burn Unit.
