Ο Συλλογος Καμπιων-Αγρελωπου Χιου στην Αμερικη, ιδρυθηκε τον Μαρτιο 1976, στο Fairview, NJ, με το ονομα Ενωσις Καμπιουσιων Χιου Αμερικης. Στις 15 Ιανουαριου 1984, ο συλλογος προσθετει την επωνυμια <<Παναγια ∆εσποινα>> προς τιμην της πολιουχου του χωριου. Τα Μελη του συλλογου διαμενουν στης πολιτειες: New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Illinois, Texas, και California. Οι στοχοι του συλλογου ειναι να αποβλεπει σε κοινωφελη εργα του χωριου Καμπια και Αγρελωπου Χιου, η αναπτυξις κοινωνικων σχεσεων µεταξυ των μελων του και της Χιακης παρικοιας. Ο συλλογος ειναι Μελος της Χιακης Ομοσπονδιας Νεας Υορκης, απο το 1980. Μελη του συλλογου εχουν υπηρετησει στα Συμβουλια της Χιακης Ομοσπονδιας και των Χιακων Σωματειων Αμερικης και Καναδα.		The Objectives of the 50^th National Convention · To unite all people, and their descendents, from the island of Chios, Greece. To teach our Youth to carry on our traditions, customs, and maintain a constant link to our island. · To support the resolution of last year’s convention in Chios, by raising awareness of the fund-raising campaign for the Cardiac Clinic of the Hospital in Chios. · To enjoy the Memorial Day Weekend and ring in the start of summer at the New Jersey shore’s most famous city: Atlantic City, NJ.
The Board of Trustees of the Association of Kambiousion would like to welcome all the delegates, their families, and friends of the Chios Societies of the Americas & Canada to New Jersey for the 50^th National Chian Convention. We are glad to be a part of the continuing tradition of bringing together Chians and all Greek-Americans for a memorable weekend of fun, traditional music, and discussion of issues dealing with our societies, here in America, and on our beautiful island of Chios.
